Adding a child license

Parent-child relationships help your agency track complex licenses that are associated with multiple licenses. A parent license is a license that contains other licenses. A child license is one of these supporting licenses. Using the Related Records tab, you can indicate that the current license is the child of another license.

  1. Load the license you want in the License InfoViewer.
  2. On the Related Records tab, click Add above the Child Licenses grid.
  3. In the Child License # field, specify the identification number for the license that will be the child of the current license.
  4. Specify the capacity in which the license is related to the child in the Capacity field.
  5. Type any additional information about the relationship in the Comments field.
  6. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector links the licenses, defining the license that you specified as the child of the current license, and adds the child license to the grid. The current license will also be displayed in the Parent Licenses grid for the child license when you load that license.
