Hierarchy Browser

The Hierarchy Browser provides a graphical representation of a group of related applications, along with associated service requests and work orders.

Note: The term "application" is used generically to refer to application, case, and license records in all CDR modules.

For example, you might want to see all of the project and building applications that are associated with a parent planning application. When you select a parent application, Infor Public Sector shows all of its children in a browser tree that you can use to drill down through the hierarchy.

It is important to note that the Hierarchy Browser shows application relationships slightly differently than the Related Records tab in the Application InfoViewers. When you load an application in the InfoViewer, the Related Records tab shows both parents and children from the same module, and related applications from other modules. (Applications from the same module are always associated in a parent/child relationship. Applications from different modules are simply related. Neither application is the parent or child of the other.) When you load an application in the Hierarchy Browser, the tree shows the related applications and child applications from the same module, but not parents.
