Changing a case type's category

You can add, change, or remove a case type's category at any time. Case categories help you organize related case types, such as a category called Zoning that contains case types for garage sales and home occupation.

  1. Select Code Enforcement > Setup > Case Workflow.
  2. In the Case Types tree, browse to the correct case type.
  3. Right-click the "Case Type" node and select Change Case Type Category.
    Infor Public Sector shows a Category Name field showing the case type's current category, if any.
  4. Click the popup button to the right of the Category Name field.
  5. In the Categories tree, browse to the category that you want to add the case type to.
  6. Select the "Case Category" node and click Select.
    Note: You can select the root node to remove the application type's category.
  7. Click Save.
