Creating additional accounts for an owning entity

An address, contact, parcel, or property, also known as an owning entity, can have more than one associated account as long as the accounts are of different types. You can use the Manage Account page to create additional accounts for an owning entity.

To create an additional account for an owning entity that already has an account, you must select a different account type for the new account from the Account Type list.

For example, suppose a parcel already has one associated account. If you specify the parcel ID in the Manage Account page and click Search, Infor Public Sector will load the existing account.

But if you specify the parcel ID and select a different account type from the Account Type list, Infor Public Sector will instead display the Create Parcel Based Account link. You can then click the link to create a new account of the selected type.
