Assigning responsibility for an account

To assign an account to an employee, specify the employee's ID. You can also specify a responsibility code, which identifies a department or group within your agency that is responsible for the account.

The Manage Account page shows the assignment information in the Account panel on the Summary tab. You can also use this information to filter the accounts that are displayed in the Manage Delinquency Accounts and Managed Accounts items in My Infor.

  1. Select Billing > Manage Account.
  2. Load the account you want.
  3. On the Maintenance tab, under Account, click Assign Responsibility.
    The Assign Responsibility link can also be displayed in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab.
  4. Specify the employee ID for the employee the account is assigned to in the Assigned To field.
  5. Specify the responsibility code for the department or group the account is assigned to in the Responsibility field.
  6. Click Save.
