Defining a budget number

  1. Select Resources > Budget > Budget Number Setup.
  2. Click Add above the Budget Numbers grid.
  3. Specify a description for the budget number in the Description field.
  4. Specify the segments that make up the budget number.
    The grid includes a column for each segment that your agency uses. For each segment, click the popup button and select the code from the list.
    Note: If you plan to use the MyGLAccountMaster BOD (Core\Messaging\Mappings\Import\Resources\SyncGLAccountMasterImport.xml in the Infor Public Sector application folder) to import budget numbers, the budget numbers that you define in Infor Public Sector can only have one segment. Budget numbers that are imported through this BOD are always placed in the SEGMENT1 column of the BUDGETNUMBER table, so your Infor Public Sector budget numbers must be set up to match.
  5. Click Save.
