Creating assets

The process of creating a new asset in Infor Public Sector depends on the asset type.

For a simple asset you enter a single unit ID.
For a network asset, such as a sewer or water main, you must specify the two endpoints that define the asset. The endpoints are simple assets in your inventory. For example, a sewer main might be defined as the stretch of pipe between two sewer manholes.
For a segment asset, such as a street segment, you must enter the name of the street and the segment ID.
