Adding logs to asset inspections

You can add log entries to record events or incidents relating to an asset inspection. Each log entry consists of a log type, a starting and ending date and time, the employee ID of the person who added the log, and any comments.
  1. Open the inspection in the InfoViewer and select the Log tab.
  2. Click the Add button above the grid.
  3. Specify the type of log entry that you're adding in the Log Type field.
    Infor Public Sector automatically enters the current date and time in the From Date field, and enters your employee ID in the Log Entry By field. You can change these values if required, and you can enter an end date and time in the To Date field.
  4. Type your comments in the Comments field.
  5. Click Save.
