Adding a scenario to a life cycle analysis

  1. Open a life cycle analysis in the Life Cycle Analysis InfoViewer.
  2. Click Add above the Scenarios grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the scenario.
    Description
    Specify a description of the scenario.
    Discount Rate
    Specify the rate to use to discount future costs under this scenario.
    Scenario Years
    Specify the range of years the scenario covers.
    Start Year
    Specify the year which the scenario starts.
    NPV Year
    Specify the year for which you want to calculate net present value for this scenario.
    Default Cost Increase
    Specify the default amount by which you want to increase recurring costs. The specified value is displayed by default in the Cost Increase Per Year field when you specify recurring costs.
  4. Click Save.
