Asset Management
Asset Management is composed of several modules, such as Fleet, Sewer, and Park. Each of these modules has an access group under the Asset Management access group that makes the module available in the menu. For example, the Plant module has a access group.
Each module includes several asset types. For example, the Fleet module includes building assets, vehicle assets, and so forth. Some asset types are only available in one module, while other asset types are available in more than one module. For example, the Well asset type is only available in Water, but the Building asset type is available in every asset module. Assets that are shared across multiple modules have only one set of permissions. Setting those permissions makes the asset type available to every module that uses that asset type.
The Asset Management access group has access groups for additional asset management features and tools, such as the Asset Browser and group inspections. There are also license-dependent access groups, such as (for Risk Analysis) and .
