Resource Manager

The Resource Manager is a tool that you can use to manage the employees, assets, and work projects that you’re responsible for. You can perform administrative tasks such as scheduling resources to work on a service request or work order, recording your resources’ usage costs, viewing the number of hours of work an employee has put in for a specific day, and loaning resources to other supervisors in your agency.

When you open the Resource Manager, Infor Public Sector shows the resources and work projects that you’re managing in a tree. You can browse through the tree to view your resources’ work information for the current date. To view a resource’s information for another day, use the Previous Day and Next Day buttons at the top of the form. Any work projects that you’re managing can also be added to the Resource Manager so that you can schedule your resources to work on them.

The Resource Manager also provides you with tools to coordinate with other supervisors in your agency. If you or another supervisor require additional help in completing a task, you can loan or borrow the necessary resources. Supervisors who are designated as trusted can view and sometimes use and modify each others’ resources. You can view the resources of a supervisor who trusts you by selecting the supervisor’s name from the Name list.
