Content Manager overview

The Content Manager is the form that you use to modify and extend pages in the Infor Public Sector user interface. The pages are organized in a branching tree structure. After you've browsed to the page that you want to edit, you can open it in the Page Editor by clicking on the page preview to the right, or by right-clicking on the page and selected Edit [page name].

If you've selected the Show Content Manager button preference in My Infor, you can also open the Content Manager directly from the page that you want to edit. If Show Content Manager button is selected, then a Content Manager button is displayed on every page. Click the Content Manager button to open the Content Manager and load the current page.

The Page Editor provides a WYSIWYG interface for editing pages. You can add, remove, and reposition various types of controls, such as edit boxes (text fields), buttons, and grids. You can also set a wide variety of control properties, giving you extensive control over the appearance and behavior of your site.

When you make changes in the Content Manager, Infor Public Sector initially saves your modifications as temporary changes. You can then preview, fine tune, test, and remove alterations before they are applied throughout your system.

Note: Although you can personalize most of the pages in the Infor Public Sector interface, there are a few pages that can't be modified in the Content Manager.
