External charges

An external charge is any item that your customers may pay for that is not generated by Infor Public Sector.

External charges can include items such as parking tickets, park and recreation fees, and dog licenses. You can create any number of external charge types, defining such information as the charge amount, a non-standard tax rate, and whether the charge is taxable.

For more advanced external charges, you can also set up interfaces to external systems. For example, charges for merchandise such as maps or books might be set up to share information with an external inventory system that tracks the merchandise.
