Viewing your schedule

The Schedule Calendar shows your work assignments, such as service requests, work orders, and inspections, in a monthly, weekly, or daily view.

Each assignment in the calendar is identified as either "assigned" or "scheduled."

  • "Assigned" means the assignment was made by entering the employee's name and the scheduled start date in the InfoViewer.
  • "Scheduled" means a resource pool or usage group was used to schedule the employee for a work order or service request.

To open the Schedule Calendar, select Resources > Scheduling > Schedule Calendar.

Note: A user must have an employee record in Infor Public Sector to use the Schedule Calendar.

When first opened, the Schedule Calendar shows the current month on the Month tab. Use the Previous or Next buttons to browse to other months. To return to the current date, click Go to Today.

To see details for a specific week, select the beginning date of the week that you want to view on the Month tab and then select the Week tab.

The Week tab shows the assignments for each hour of each day of the selected week, using two different colors. One color (dark blue by default) represents moveable items, meaning you can reschedule them by dragging and dropping. The other color (dark red by default) represents static items, which can't be rescheduled in the Schedule Calendar. For example, employee leave is static, because it can only be rescheduled in the Employee Timesheet.

You can reschedule moveable assignments on the Week tab by dragging and dropping.

To see details for a specific day, select the date that you want to view on the Month tab and then select the Day tab. You can click the ID link to open a record in the appropriate InfoViewer.
