Page Editor
The Page Editor is the tool that you use to modify pages in the Infor Public Sector user interface, including both detail pages and
standard pages that you access through the Content Manager. It provides a WYSIWYG interface
that you can use to add, remove, and reposition controls, and to set control
properties.
In addition to the WYSIWYG interface, the Page Editor include a Control Explorer that lists all of a page's controls in a tree structure, and a Data Explorer that provides access to the properties of the business objects that a page is bound to. When you select a control, either on the page or in the Control Explorer, its properties are displayed below the Control Explorer and the Data Explorer.
There are some minor differences in the Page Editor, depending on whether you're editing a detail page or a page in the Content Manager.
- The Data Builder is only accessible when you're editing a detail page. To open the Data Builder, click and select Data Builder.
- Similarly, the Grid Builder is only accessible when you're editing a detail page. To open the Grid Builder, click and select new Grid (Grid Builder).
