Check device control
When Infor Public Sector attempts to load the Infor device control in Internet Explorer, a variety of factors, both environmental and security-related, can prevent the device control from loading.
- Try resetting your browser. Select Advanced tab and click . , then select the

- Clear the download cache. In the Device Configuration Utility, select to accomplish this. This ensures that a prior version of the .dlls is not cached and being used.
- Turn Off CASPol. First, ensure
that all IE instances are closed. In the Device Configuration Utility, select
Infor Public Sector URL being used. In Cashiering Setup, browse to the
corresponding cash register setup in the tree and select it. Click the Configure Register Hardware
link to test if the device control loads. If this fixes the issue, then a CASPol
entry must be run in the command line in this form.
