Client machines

This is the general process for setting up a client machine to function as a cash register:

• Log in to the client machine as an administrator. This is required due to the level of registry and installation privileges required during this configuration.
• Install the Infor device control.
• If using .NET 4.5, add Registry values to enable winform hosting.
• Configure Internet Explorer settings.
• Install manufacturer OPOS/WEPOS service objects for each POS device.
• Set up devices in the Infor Device Configuration tool.
• Configure cash register hardware in Infor Public Sector.
