Joining addresses

If you have two or more records in your database for the same address, you can use the lookup to join them. You select one address record that you want to keep, and Infor Public Sector merges all data from the other addresses to the selected record. The other addresses are then expired.

Note:  When you expire a record, Infor Public Sector enters the current date as the expiration date. Records expire at midnight on the expiration date, so the record will still be active in the system until the next day.
  1. Select Resources > Property > Lookup Addresses.
  2. Look up the addresses that you want to join.
  3. Select the addresses that you want to join in the Address Lookup Results grid.
  4. Click Action and select Join Addresses.
If the addresses that you select aren't identical, Infor Public Sector shows a message asking you to confirm that you want to join them. Click Yes to continue.
  5. In the Address Join window, select the address that the others will be joined to.
  6. Click OK.
