Inspectors

Selecting the Inspector check box for an employee indicates that the employee functions as an inspector in the Customer Service and CDR modules.

  • When you open the popup for an Inspector field, or for the Assigned To field in a CDR inspection, the popup will only show employees who are designated as inspectors.
  • In the CDR modules, only employees designated as inspectors can be assigned to inspections.
  • In Customer Service, you can assign a service request to an employee who is not an inspector by entering the employee ID manually.
  • Also in Customer Service, if you are designated as an inspector in your employee record, then the Inspector field will show your employee ID by default when you open Check TO-DO List, Record Inspection Result, or Resolve Inspected Request.

Note that the Inspector check box does not have any effect on asset inspections.
