Running an ad hoc report

When you run an ad hoc report, Infor Public Sector queries the database using the filters and output columns that you've defined and shows the results in a grid on the Results tab. The Report Output grid contains a column for each output column that you've added to the report. You can also use the Print Report button to print a copy of the report, or click the Export button at the top of the grid to export the report to a .csv file. The .csv file can be opened in Microsoft Excel.

If you're running a bill report (based on the Hansen.Billing.Bill object) that includes the bill key among the output columns, the bill keys are hyperlinked so that you can open bills in the Bill InfoViewer. Similarly, if you're running an account report (based on Hansen.Billing.Account) that includes the account number in the output, you can click the account numbers in the Report Output grid to open accounts in the Manage Account page.

  1. Select Resources > Ad Hoc Reporting.
  2. In the Ad Hoc Reporting tree, browse to the report you want to run and click the "Report" node.
  3. Click Run Report.
  4. Select the Results tab to view the report.
