Setting the common date

The common date is used by tasks when searching the calendar for jobs to run. By default, the current date is used, but you can also specify a different date. When a task runs, the calendar is checked to see if a common date is set, and then jobs are selected for that date. If no common date is set, jobs are selected for the current date. The current common date is displayed in the Current Common Date field.

  1. Select Billing > Setup > Billing > Billing Calendar.
  2. Click Action and select Set Common Date.
  3. Specify the date in the Common Date field.
  4. Click Save.
