Creating a payment import

  1. Select Billing > Payment > Create Payment Import.
  2. Select the template you're using from the Import Template list.
    The template is an XML file that indicates how data from the import file is mapped to the Infor Public Sector database. The data is identified based on a set of keywords that are first defined in the Keyword Manager. The list of available templates is defined in Payment Import Setup. When you select a template, Infor Public Sector enters the associated file path in the Import File Path field.
  3. Specify the name of the file that contains the payment information in the Import File Name field.
    When you click the popup button to the right of the Import File Name field, Infor Public Sector shows the DirectorySearch dialog box, which by default shows the directory specified in the Import File Path field. You can then select a file in this directory, or you can browse to a different directory.
  4. Click Run Run button.
    Infor Public Sector imports the payment information from the source file and shows the results of the run. If the import is successful, Infor Public Sector places the import file in the Processed directory within the directory specified in the Import File Path field. If Infor Public Sector is unable to import the payments, the import file is placed in the Rejected directory.
