Adding external charges

  1. Select Cashiering > Cash Register.
  2. Select the register and drawer you want to log in to and click Select.
  3. Under Find Charges, click the button for the correct charge or charge group.
    The labels on the buttons depend on how your external charges are configured in Cashiering Setup. By default, you click the External button to add external charges. You can also create other charge groups, which will have their own buttons, and you can add buttons for specific charges.
  4. Select the type of charge you're adding in the Charge Types grid and click Next.
    Infor Public Sector doesn't show the Charge Types grid for external charges that have their own buttons. Instead, Infor Public Sector loads the charge details directly into the Add Charge dialog box.
  5. Make any changes you want in the Add Charge dialog box.
    You can edit the charge ID, the charge date, and the unit price. For quantity-based charge, you can also edit the quantity.
  6. Click Add.
    Infor Public Sector adds the external charge to the Current Charges grid. If these are the first charges you've loaded, Infor Public Sector also shows the Take Payment tab and starts a new register transaction record.
