Creating an incident

  1. Select Incident > Create Incident
  2. Specify the type of incident in the Incident Type field.
  3. Specify any contact information, such as the person reporting a traffic accident, in the fields under Contact.
  4. Specify the location of the incident in the fields under Incident Location.
    You can record the location of the incident in several different ways. If the incident occurred at a specific address, you can specify the address information in the Location group box. You can also specify a description of the location in the Location field. You can also specify a parcel ID, a property ID, or X and Y coordinates.

    Alternatively, you can click the Map Drawer button and select Set Incident Location to select a location from the map.

  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify any information that you have on the conditions at the time of the incident, incident details and events, or the assets, persons, and vehicles that were involved.
  7. Click Save.
