Defining budget number segments

You can define up to fifteen segments for your budget numbers. You cannot define any additional budget number segments after you've used them to set up budget numbers.

Note: If you plan to use the MyGLAccountMaster BOD (Core\Messaging\Mappings\Import\Resources\SyncGLAccountMasterImport.xml in the Infor Public Sector application folder) to import budget numbers, the budget numbers that you define in Infor Public Sector can only have one segment. Budget numbers that are imported through this BOD are always placed in the SEGMENT1 column of the BUDGETNUMBER table, so your Infor Public Sector budget numbers must be set up to match.
  1. Select Resources > Budget > Budget Segment Definition.
  2. Click Add above the Budget Segment Definition grid.
