Usage groups

A usage group is a collection of employees, vehicles, and equipment that can be scheduled for work orders, group projects, service requests, and asset inspections.

For example, you can create a usage group that handles street light repairs and add the employees who would handle such repairs, the vehicles they use, and the equipment stored in the vehicles. When scheduling work, Infor Public Sector shows the availability of your usage groups and any conflicts that individual resources in the group may have. If any conflicts or additional requirements arise when scheduling a usage group, you can add, replace, or remove resources from the schedule. After you've scheduled a usage group, the group's resources will be unavailable for other work during those scheduled hours.
