Creating a standard work order

  1. Select Work Management > Setup > Create Standard Work Order.
  2. Type a name for the standard work order in the Name field.
  3. On the Work Order Information tab, enter the information that Infor Public Sector will add to all work orders that are created based on this standard.
  4. If you want to limit this standard work order to one or more specific activities, enter them in the grid on the Activities tab.
  5. If you want to include information from agency detail pages in the standard work order, enter the properties and values you want to use in the grid on the Details tab.

Each field on a detail page is bound to a specific business object property, so you can populate these fields in a standard work order by assigning values to the correct properties.

To add a property, click Add above the Details grid. Then click the popup button to the right of the Property field. This shows the Select Agency Component dialog box, which you can use to select the business object that contains the property you want to add.

When you select an object in the Enhancement Product Families tree and click Select, Infor Public Sector shows the Select Property dialog box, which lists the available properties in another tree. When you select a property and click Select, Infor Public Sector closes the dialog box and shows the property in the grid.

The last step is to enter the value you want to set for this property in the Value field. When you create a work order based on this standard work order, Infor Public Sector will enter this value in the field that is bound to the selected property.

  6. Click Save.
