Business Objects tree nodes

Node Description
Infor Business Objects (root node) Contains nodes for the product families that your agency has purchased.
Agency Business Objects (root node) Contains nodes for the enhancement product families that your agency has defined.
"Product Family" node "Product Family"

Node for a product family that your agency has purchased or defined, such as CDR (Community Development and Regulation) or Inventory. This node shows the name of the product family or group of personalized objects. It may contain one or more of each of these nodes: "Product" or "Business Object."

"Product" node "Product"

Node for a product that your agency has purchased or defined, such as Building or Pavement. This node shows the name of the product. It contains one or more "Business Object" nodes.

"Business Object" node "Business Object"

Node for a business object that your agency has purchased or defined. A business object is an instance of a class that represents a table in your Infor Public Sector database. This node shows the common ID of the business object. It contains at least six "Event" nodes.

"Event" Node for an event for a business object. Events fire a formula or method when the described event takes place. Every business object has these six events: AfterAdd, AfterLoad, AfterUpdate, BeforeAdd, BeforeDelete, and BeforeUpdate. Some business objects have additional events. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the formulas or methods that are called by the event handler.
