Service contracts overview

Infor Public Sector provides the tools that you need to create and manage your agency's service agreements with contractors.

A service contract is an agreement with one or more contractors for specific services. You can use Infor Public Sector to specify the terms of the contract, such as the types of services performed and the rates that the contractors can charge for their services.

After you create a service contract, you can create line items to define the individual services that fall within the general parameters of the contract. After you've defined the line items, you can associate them with the contractors who will be performing the services. You can also define the rates that those professionals charge. You can associate more than one contractor with a line item service. You can also use line item sub-sections and references to provide more detail about a service or indicate a subordinate part of a service.

Infor Public Sector provides various tools that you can use to track service contracts. You can use the Service Contract lookup to search for service contracts. After you locate the information you want, you can use the Service Contract InfoViewer to update the service contract.
