Repeating a task

Certain types of tasks can be scheduled to run repeatedly when they're invoked, rather than just once. To repeat a task, you enter the interval at which you want it to repeat and either the amount of time you want the task to keep repeating or the time you want it to stop. For example, you might set up a Correspondence Schedule task to repeat every 20 minutes for four hours, or every 20 minutes until 12:00.

  1. Select System > Batch Processing > Batch Manager.
  2. In the Tasks grid, select the task that you want to repeat.
  3. Under Frequency, select the Repeat Task check box.
The Repeat Task check box is not displayed for all types of tasks.
  4. Set the interval at which the task will repeat by entering a number in the Every field and selecting Minutes or Hours from the drop-down list.
  5. Under Until, select either Time or Duration to indicate how long you want to task to keep repeating.
  6. If you selected Time, enter the time you want the task to stop repeating.
  7. If you selected Duration, enter the number of hours and minutes you want the task to repeat.
  8. Click Save.
