Table definitions

To use personalized tables, the table must be defined using the Schema Manager.

A table definition names the table and its corresponding business object, its columns, and other items, such as constraints and indexes. Defining a table does not add it to the Infor Public Sector database. To use a personalized table, it must be added to your database and its business object must be generated.

Table definitions can be changed, but because a table definition contains important information that is used throughout Infor Public Sector, do not make changes to a table definition that are already being used elsewhere, such as in formulas. Changes do not take effect until you direct Infor Public Sector to update the table and its business object.
