My Infor Microsoft Outlook items

If you are using Infor Public Sector in Internet Explorer, you can access some of Microsoft Outlook's features from your My Infor homepage. You can use these features to perform tasks that you regularly perform in Outlook, such as reading and responding to email or adding and viewing events in your Outlook calendar.

Note: Outlook integration for Infor Public Sector is not supported in browsers other than Internet Explorer.

You can show one or more of these My Infor items:

Item Description
Calendar You can use the Calendar item to view the current date in your Microsoft Outlook Calendar. You can click any time slot in the calendar to enter an event, meeting, or appointment. Any item that you add will be displayed in your personal calendar in Microsoft Outlook. For more information on scheduling an event, meeting, or appointment, refer to the Help in Microsoft Outlook.
Contacts You can use the Contacts item to view your contact list in Microsoft Outlook. You can double-click a contact name to view and edit the contact’s information. To find a contact, you can use the letter buttons to the right of the contact list. For more information on contacts, refer to the Help in Microsoft Outlook.
Inbox You can use the Inbox item to view and respond to emails in your Microsoft Outlook Inbox. You can double-click an email in your Inbox to open it. You can respond to emails as you would in Microsoft Outlook, and you can print, flag, and delete your emails. For more information on email and the Inbox, refer to the Help in Microsoft Outlook.
Tasks You can use the Tasks item to view and create tasks in your Microsoft Outlook Tasks directory. You can create a task by entering a task name in the Subject field and pressing ENTER. Any task that you add will be displayed in the Tasks directory in Microsoft Outlook. You can edit any field of an existing task or open the task in a new window by double-clicking the task.
