site
(1) An asset that serves as the location of another asset. For
example, if a pickup truck is usually parked at a water treatment plant, the
plant can serve as the site for the pickup. In turn, the pickup can serve as
the site for a portable air compressor. (2) An address, parcel, property, or
asset that an application, license, or case is associated with. See also
primary site, linked site, and associated site.
