Plan Tracking

You can use the Plan Tracking form to manage plans submitted for building, planning, project, and use applications. You can make a record of each plan copy submitted and keep track of it as it is checked in and out and revised. You can also assign plan copies to reviews.

For example, an agency might require two sets of plans for a building application, one of which is assigned to a Fire Department review and the other to a zoning and structural review. Each plan copy can be checked out by reviewers, applicants, or outsources (third parties who might need to revise plans, such as architects or engineers). When a copy is checked back in with revisions, you can give it a new version number to keep track of the revision history.
