Application Workflow

Application Workflow is a tool that you use to set up the permitting process for each of your agency's application types.

An application type represents one kind of building application that your agency handles. It includes information about the licenses, reviews, inspections, conditions, fees, and other supporting information that your agency requires, as well as the code violations that can be used in its inspections and reviews. You also define an application type's milestones, which are important points in an application's permitting process, and the criteria that can halt an application from advancing from one milestone to another.

Infor Public Sector organizes your application information into a tree structure. You can browse through the tree by expanding and collapsing nodes. You can arrange similar application types into application categories to make managing them easier. For example, you might have a category called Residential that contains application types for a single-family dwelling or an in-ground pool. After you've set up the permitting process for an application type, members of your agency can use this information to perform their tasks, such as starting a new application, recording inspection results, charging and collecting fees, and tracking the progress of an application.
