Updating a group of completed tasks

You can update a group of tasks for a work order with the same information simultaneously. For example, if the work order is to tune up a vehicle, the tasks may all be completed on the same day and by the same employee. Instead of updating the information for each individual task, you can record the information once and Infor Public Sector will automatically update all of the tasks that you select.

  1. Load the work order you want into the Work Order InfoViewer.
  2. On the Planned Tasks tab, select the tasks you would like to update.
  3. Click Complete.
    Infor Public Sector opens a popup dialog box with the current date and time in the Completed field and your employee ID in the Completed By field.
  4. Make any necessary changes to the completion information.
    You can change the identification code for the employee who completed the task and the date that the task was completed. You can specify any additional information about the completion of the tasks in the Completion Info field.
  5. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector shows the updated information in the appropriate fields. These changes do not apply to tasks that already show completion dates.
