Recording an asset usage reading from a work order

If a work order's activity supports usage readings, you can use the Work Order InfoViewer to view and record usage readings for the associated asset.

  1. Load the work order you want into the Work Order InfoViewer.
  2. On the Usage Readings tab, click Add above the Readings grid.
    Note: The Usage Readings tab is only displayed if the Show Usage Details select box is checked for the activity type in Activity Workflow.
  3. Specify the date of the usage reading in the Reading Date field.
  4. Specify the total usage for the asset in the Value field.
  5. Click Save.
