-
Load the work order you want to link to into the Work Order InfoViewer.
-
Click Add a Linked Work Order in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab; or select the Linked Work Orders tab and add a new entry to the Linked Work Orders grid.
If the work order isn't currently linked, Infor Public Sector shows the Add a Linked Work Order link on the
Summary tab. If the
work order is linked to one or more other work orders, the link on the
Summary tab is
replaced by the Linked Work
Orders tab.
Infor Public Sector then shows the Link Work Orders dialog box. By default, the grid
in this dialog box lists all open work orders for the same asset as the current
work order. You can also show open work orders for the same activity, or you can
search for other work orders.
-
In the Select from existing Work Orders grid, select one or more work orders to link to.
You can use the option buttons above the grid to list open work orders for the same asset or the same activity as the current one. If you want to link to work orders for a different asset and activity, you can click Find other work orders to search for additional work orders. After you've found the correct work orders, select each work order you want to link to in the grid.
-
Click Link.
Infor Public Sector links the selected work
orders. If they aren't already present, Infor Public Sector also adds the Linked Work Orders and Linked Usage tabs to the
InfoViewer. The Linked Work
Orders tab shows each work order the current work order is
linked to, and can be used to link to additional work orders. The Linked Usage tab shows
resource usage for all work orders that are linked to the current one.
