Work Order InfoViewer settings

The appearance of the Work Order InfoViewer depends on the settings you select under Work Management Preferences in My Infor. You can choose the layout and which panels and quick links are displayed on the InfoViewer's Summary tab.

The InfoViewer settings are found in these nodes under Work Order Summary in the My Infor tree: Panels and Quick Links.

When you select the Panels node, you can select Use Classic Layout if you want to use the Work Order InfoViewer as it appeared before it was redesigned for the 8.2.0 release.

The redesign simplified the InfoViewer, adding a new Summary tab with quick links to important functionality, and showing the rest of the tabs only if there is information to show on those tabs. If you prefer the older design, where all of the tabs are always present, select the Use Classic Layout check box. Note that none of the other settings apply to the classic layout.

If you aren't using the classic layout, the Panels node determines which panels are displayed on the Summary tab, and the order in which they're displayed. In addition to the four optional panels (Work Order Status, Work Order Information, Safety Messages, and Scheduled Employees), note that there are three standard panels: Costs Graph, Quick Links, and Tasks Graph. Note also that each panel is only displayed if it has information to show.

Finally, select the Information Tab First check box to show the Information tab before the Summary tab in the InfoViewer. By default the Summary tab is first.

The Quick Links node controls the links that are displayed in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab. As with the panels, there are a number of standard quick links in addition to the optional ones that you can select in My Infor.
