Updating work orders in bulk

You can update a group of work orders with the same information simultaneously using the Work Order lookup. You can update information such as start and completion dates, the employee assigned to the work orders, the result of the work orders, and any linked service requests.

You can also change activity codes, as long as the work orders don't have any resource usage recorded. If you change a work order’s activity, Infor Public Sector resets the work order to the first milestone of the new activity and updates the tasks and cost estimates.

  1. Select Work Management > Work Order > Lookup Work Orders.
  2. Look up the work orders that you want to update.
  3. Select all the work orders you want to update.
  4. Click Action and select Update Selected Items.
  5. Specify the information that you want to update.
  6. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector shows a message that the work orders have been updated and updates all the work orders with the new information.
