Recording resource usage

  1. Load a work order, group project, service request, or asset inspection in the appropriate InfoViewer.
  2. On the Resource Usage tab, click Add above the Resource Usage grid.
    Note: If you're using the Work Order InfoViewer, you can also select the Summary tab and click the Add Resource Usage link in the Quick Links panel. The Resource Usage tab is only displayed in the Work Order InfoViewer if a work order already has resource usage recorded.
  3. Select the type of resource for which you're recording usage from the Usage Type list.
  4. Specify the necessary usage information for the resource.
    If you're recording usage for a work order, you can also specify the activity and task for which the resource was used.
  5. Specify the dates of the resource usage in the Charge Date and To fields.
  6. Click Add Usage.
    Infor Public Sector adds the resource usage and shows it in the grid at the bottom of the dialog box.

    If the time period that you specified in the Charge Date and To fields covers multiple days, you will see multiple resource usage records in the grid. There will be one record for each day, and the total usage will be divided.

  7. To add additional resource usage, select the correct resource type from the Usage Type list and repeat the steps above.
