Default standard work order
A standard work order serves as a template that you can use to create work orders with key information already filled in. For example, if work orders assigned to a particular employee always have the same source, maintenance type, and problem codes, you can use a standard work order to store that information.
To use a standard work order, specify the name of the standard work order along with the activity code when you create a work order. If you assign a default standard work order to an activity, Infor Public Sector automatically fills in that standard work order whenever you specify the activity code in Create Work Order or in other processes where you can specify an activity, such as Create Unit Maintenance Schedule.
You can also associate activities with standard work orders in Create Standard Work Order or the Standard Work Order InfoViewer. If you associate activities with a standard work order, the standard work order will only be available if you create a work order with one of the selected activities.
