Breaking a compilation lock

When any user begins a compilation process, such as rebuilding formulas or synchronizing product families, a lock is place on the system so that only one compilation can run at a time. If the compilation is interrupted for some reason, the lock may get stuck. If this happens you can use the System Information page to clear the lock.

  1. Select System > Administration > System Information.
  2. Click Action and select Break Compilation Lock.
