Configuration transfer screens

Each screen in the configuration transfer process is used to select a different type of record. The tool includes these screens:

  • Configurations: Select the Infor Public Sector configurations that you want to transfer. The term "configurations" here refers to various types of setup records, such as CDR application workflows, activity workflows for Work Management, and asset inspection types.

Before you click Begin Comparison on this screen, you can click Select Configurations

The configurations that you can transfer are defined in a set of XML files in the to limit the records that are included in the comparison. For example, you might only want to transfer building application types.Core\ConfigurationTransferApplet\Scripts folder on the server.

    See Configurations.

  • Content Manager: Select the Content Manager changes that you want to transfer. The tool will overwrite any changes made to the same pages in the destination.

Select the Move latest revision only check box if you only want to transfer the latest revisions of the selected pages. Otherwise all revisions will be transferred.

  • Code Definitions: Select the code definitions that you want to transfer.

Transferring code definitions is a two-step process. On the first transfer, the tool transfers any agency-defined code tables, but doesn’t transfer the code definition data. If you run the same transfer a second time, the tool will transfer the code definition data.

  • Workflows and Formulas: Select the formulas and workflow items that you want to transfer. These can be defined in the Workflow Manager, or in formula fields throughout Infor Public Sector.

Select the Move latest revision only check box if you only want to transfer the latest revisions of the selected formulas. Otherwise all revisions will be transferred.

  • Agency Defined Tables: Select the agency tables that you want to transfer. These tables can be created in the Schema Manager or in the Page Builder.
  • Roles: Select the user roles in Access Control that you want to transfer.
  • Permissions: Transfers agency-defined permissions in Access Control, such as the permissions that are added for CDR application types.
    Caution:
The transfer tool deletes permissions from the destination. Any agency-defined permissions that exist in the destination but not the source will be lost.
  • Filters: Select the data filters that you want to transfer. These filters are defined in the Schema Manager.
  • Config Files: Select the configuration files that you want to transfer. These are the configurations that are managed by the Configuration Editor. Each file that you select to transfer will overwrite the corresponding file in the destination instance.
  • Users: Select the Infor Public Sector users that you want to transfer.
  • Employees: Select the employee records that you want to transfer. This also includes the associated contact records.
