Infor Public Sector log types
This table describes the different types of log entry that you can review in Lookup System Logs. Depending on your system configuration, log entries may also be written to log files on the server. Logging settings are defined in the Logging configuration in the Configuration Editor.
Log type | Description |

AccessControl | Logs events relating to access control. |
Applet | Logs events relating to the user interface, such as control failures. |
Batch Manager | Logs events relating to the Infor Public Sector Batch Manager. Note that these are not the same as the logs that you can look up using the Batch Manager Log page. Batch Manager Log shows log entries for scheduled tasks, and Lookup System Logs shows log entries for the Batch Manager itself, such as when the service stops and starts. See "Batch Manager Logging" in the Infor Public Sector Batch Processing Administration Guide. |
Bill Run | Logs events relating to the Bill Run Schedule task in the Batch Manager. |
Billing Batch Process | Logs events relating to Billing batch processes. Note that there is a separate log for the Bill Run Schedule task. |
CDR Batch Process | Logs events relating to CDR batch processes. |
Content Manager | Logs events relating to the Content Manager. |
Messaging | Logs events relating to the Infor Public Sector messaging framework. Note that these are not the same as the logs that you can look up using the Lookup Messaging Logs page. Lookup Messaging Logs shows log entries for inbound and outbound messages, and Lookup System Logs shows log entries for the messaging framework itself. |
