User interface

The Infor Public Sector user interface is designed so that you can easily modify or extend it to meet your agency's requirements. You can modify existing pages, such as adding or removing controls, and you can create your own pages.

To modify existing pages, use the Content Manager. You can make changes such as adding or removing controls, changing the positions of controls, or changing field labels.

You can also extend pages in the Content Manager by adding your own controls for agency-defined business objects. You first link an agency business object to the page, and then you can create controls for properties of the selected object

In some modules you can also create your own pages, called detail pages. For example, in the Customer Service module you can create detail pages to record additional information about particular service request types, in addition to global details that are available for all request types. In some cases you can also use formulas to determine whether detail pages are displayed.
