Messaging logs
The messaging service creates two types of log entries. First, the messaging service adds a log to the OUTBOXENTRYLOG table for every message sent and a log to the INBOXENTRYLOG table for every message received. Each log includes the message XML and other information such as the message's delivery status and the date it was created.
You can use the Lookup Messaging Logs page to review these logs. If you have the correct permissions in Access Control, you can also reprocess or resubmit failed messages, and you can ignore messages. To open this page, select .
In addition, you can use Lookup System Logs to review logs for the messaging service. These are different from the logs in Lookup Messaging Logs, because they relate to the messaging service itself rather than specific messages. Select .
The types of log entries that you can review in Lookup System Logs depend on how logging is configured for your system. Database logging is the default, but the system can also be configured to write entries to log files on the server. To configure logging, use the Logging configuration in the Configuration Editor.
