File server

First, add a folder for your attachments on the file server. Ensure that the account that Infor Public Sector will use to authenticate requests has read/write privileges. The account will depend on the authentication method that you're using.

  • If you're using a single domain account, that account must have read/write privileges.
  • If you're authenticating users individually, each user that will be adding attachments must have read/write privileges. You can also create a domain group and grant it read/write privileges so you don't have to add users individually.

Note also that the Infor Public Sector application pool must have read access to the web.config file in the network share to show thumbnail images in the Attachments Catalog. One option is to ensure that the application pool identity has read privileges on the network share. Another option is to grant read privileges on the network share to everyone.
