Delegates

The CODEDEFINITION node and each COMPONENT node in the AutoComplete configuration can have a DELEGATES node as a child.

Delegates are used in Rhythm for Civics. With a delegate you can conduct a secondary search on another component after the user selects a value from the AutoComplete suggestion list. See the Infor Rhythm for Civics Administration Guide for more information.

The DELEGATES node has one or more DELEGATE nodes as children. Each DELEGATE node can have these attributes:

Attribute	Description
Moniker	Moniker of the component on which you want to conduct a secondary search. This must match the Component Moniker attribute of another component in the AutoComplete configuration.
Property	Property on which you want to conduct a secondary search. This must match the Property attribute of another component in the AutoComplete configuration.
Search Field	Can be used to search on a property other than the one specified by the Property attribute.
