Changing a user's password

Users with the Administrate Passwords permission in Access Control can change other users' passwords for them. You can enter a new password for the user, or you can allow the user to enter a new password the next time he or she signs in to Infor Public Sector.

  1. Select System > User Information > Change Password.
  2. Enter your password in the Password field.
  3. Specify this information:
    User ID
    Specify the ID of the user whose password you are changing.
    New Password
    Enter the user's new password.
    Confirm Password
    Enter the user's new password again.
    Change Password on Login
    Optionally, select this check box to allow the user to enter a new password when signing in to Infor Public Sector. If you select this check box, the New Password and Confirm Password fields are disabled. When next signing in, the user should not enter a password. A dialog box will be displayed where the user can enter a new password.
  4. Click Save.
